The Valsangiacomo family established their first winery in 1831 in the Ticino canton of Switzerland. In the late 19th century they started an import-export company in Valencia. From then, a lot has happened and now the fifth generation is lead the winery to quality and modernization. Out of their love for Valencia and its native grape Bobal they have developed the San Juan Project. They took the cooperative facilities of the village, their old vines and their raw concrete deposits and gave birth a new line of wines that proof the quality of the Bobal grape when tamed to express itself gently.
